Abiodun Olatunde is a 21 year old young lady, a known HBSS (sickle cell) patient with a problem of Avascular Necrosis. Olatunde, the once energetic and charismatic young lady, woke up on the 7th of January with a pain on her knee. Due to her condition, we didn’t want to take chances, she was taken to LUTH, what was just like a routine checkup, turned to the beginning of our nightmare. Olatunde, was placed on admission, her condition worsened, this lead to septic water on her knee chest. Olatunde couldn’t sleep or eat, she was always in pain, her loved ones cried all day. By May, her hips were operated on, she spent 4 months at the hospital where she was in constant pains, even after the surgery. We carried out series of test, our lovely daughter was diagnosed with osteoarthritis on both hips, which later degenerated to AVS. As a family, we have spent all we have just to make sure Olatunde walks again. All options has been exhausted, we are all in pains. She has been on a wheelchair, moved to frames and now on crutches. In total she has undergone 3 surgeries but still in this condition. After proper evaluation by Consultants from the Teaching Hospital, Olatunde needs hip replacement surgery , which will be carried out in Lagos , we have sought help from different channels, she has been depressed due to the fact that people have promised and failed her, we have done all we can as a family, we are currently helpless. This has also slowed down her education. Finally! the wonderful doctors have assured us that with this surgery(hip replacement), she would be able to walk again and live a normal life, continue her education which has been put on hold for a while now. The total amount needed for the hip replacement surgery is 3 Million Naira. Our little girl deserves a normal life, she deserves to walk again, she deserves to be happy. Accidents that lead to extreme deformity, loss of ability to see or use the mouth, is not what anyone wishes for. Ruth Aboh, a 48 year old mother of 3 who has been single-handedly taking care of her kids, could not have imagined that she wouldn't be going home to see her kids. Ruth traveled to Kogi State on the 10th of November 2017 for her nephew’s wedding, after the successful event, she boarded a bus to Lagos. She and other occupants of the vehicle were involved in a fatal accident that claimed 8 lives on the spot along Okene-Lokoja road. Ruth and other survivors were critically injured and were rushed to Federal Specialist hospital Lokoja, 2 more survivors died at the hospital, doctors battled to save her life, after spending a month in the hospital at Lokoja, she was transferred to National hospital Abuja. The battle to save Ruth’s life and keep her in good shape has not been easy; she currently cannot walk and has left facial collapse as a result of the accident. After assessment, computed tomogram (CT) scan of the left hip and face, doctors have recommended 2 surgeries in phases: i. Orthopedic Surgery ii. Maxillofacial Surgery The doctors believe that after these surgeries, she would get back on her feet again and back to her business where she can take care of her children properly. The total amount needed for both surgeries is 3,590,000.00 Naira. Ruth’s condition is critical, she needs to undergo these surgeries as soon as possible. She cannot eat by herself, has difficulty in walking due to broken bones . I use this opportunity to appeal to anyone and everyone reading this, to help in any little way. She has emptied her account, family members have done all they can. Ruth says “thank you and God bless you, you will never lack”, her kids say “thank you for helping mummy” Let us come together and help this single mother of 3 get her life back, her children have all been crying “WHEN IS MUMMY COMING HOME?” WE DON’T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO TELL THEM.

DONATE NOWMr Orji, an orphan and a dedicated English teacher, who went about his daily work at school, his students loved him, his ability to pass knowledge was top notch. All that came to an end on the 15th of May 2017, he was about to start his class when he started to experience severe back ache, he got some drugs to ease the pains, it persisted. He was taken to the hospital, an X-ray was done and it was discovered that he had damaged disc of lumba sacrol (spinal cord). As an orphan, Orji had no one, the doctors recommended a surgery at the cost 1.8million naira which was carried out in 2017, friends and students were excited hoping to see their beloved teacher back in school, sadly it only lasted a few months as the pain resurfaced. After further investigations and test, the doctors recommended another surgery which would cost 1.3million Naira. Mr Orji has no one else to turn to, he has a passion for teaching, and he wants to continue doing that and building youths to become useful to the society. At the moment, he is in debt from the 1st surgery. The total amount required to have him back on his feet is 1.3million Naira, coming together , we can make Orji walk and work again, he doesn’t want to become on destitute. #letorjiwalkagain

Emmanuel has a dream of becoming a lawyer, how can this be achieved with the great pain he faces, it gets worse when the catheter is blocked. Medical consultants handling his case have clearly stated that his situation can be redeemed, he can make use of his penis again. Imagine what it will feel like for Emmanuel being able to function as a MAN. He needs a surgery that will cost [N]500,000 .
