Help! Reduce maternal mortality among Nigerian women

In Nigeria today, about 800 women die during childbirth in every 100,000 live birth. We even know that this number is higher due to our poor data collection and record keeping culture. This cause is aimed at helping one woman in the rural community access at least one obstetrics ultrasound scan during the duration of her pregnancy. This will help screen women with high risk pregnancy and move them to adequate healthcare facilities in the urban centers for care and safe delivery. Just a donation of N3,000 will help one woman and we plan to help at least 2000 in one year. This is a good cause to help the most vulnerable womenin our rural communities across 10 Local Governments in Akwa Ibom State, initially. Your donation will help facilitate programmed outreaches to interior parts of the designated LGAs to run ultrasound clinics for these women and offer them counseling and direction where there is need.
