Mrs Theresa ONUNAKU(46), a mother of 7 children and a petty trader, was diagnosed with Infiltrating Carcinoma of the right breast by an oncologist in Lagos University Teaching Hospital(LUTH), Idi-araba, Lagos, Nigeria. In order to commence Chemotherapy treatment on her, the oncologist recommended the following medical tests: IMMUNOHISTOCHEMISTRY, ELULOR, CA-15-3, And Pelvic USS and Chest CT. The cost estimate of the tests is 300000. She is currently an out-patient in LUTH since she could not pay for her admission bills. The family has spent a lot on numerous medical tests and treatments prior to the current diagnoses by the oncologist.
