SAVE RITA'S LIFE (Kidney Transplant needed

THE CHALLENGE: It is most urgent and important that I intimate you all that our sister, mother, aunty, wife and friend, Mrs Rita Uche Ikediashi (Nee Osadebe) is seriously ill and has been undergoing intensive medical treatment for kidney failure (both kidneys) at UNIVERSITY of ABUJA TEACHING HOSPITAL,GWAGWALADA,ABUJA, since. May, 2021. The situation has deteriorated and to save Rita’s live, she was commenced on kidney dialysis in April 2022. The medical specialists advised dialysis session of 3 times per week with intensive supportive medications totalling approximately 45K per session for a total weekly cost of 140k. The doctors further stated that dialysis is only an interim measure to clear dangerous waste products out of her body, Rita will ultimately need a kidney transplant. The medical cost of dialysis and supportive medications alone is running into millions of Naira already. The estimated cost of Kidney transplant is 12 Million Naira. To realize this huge amount is a big challenge for all of us. I therefore appeal to each and every one of us to support Rita with prayers and our compassionate freewill donation.
