Urgent Medical Support for My Father's Brain Surgery
Help Me Save My Dad’s Life; He Needs Urgent Brain Surgery to See and Live
My name is Janekaren Ekpemandudiri, a master’s student of public health at the University of Lagos. Today, I’m not just a daughter; I’m a desperate one, asking for help to save my father, Mr. Charles Idowu.
A few weeks ago, he began having blurry vision in his left eye, tremors, and slowed movement. We prayed it was nothing serious, but the scans revealed a large, aggressive brain tumor, an atypical meningioma, pressing on his optic nerve and threatening his life. He’s already losing vision, and without urgent surgery, he could go blind, or worse.
The surgery is scheduled soon. It’s a delicate and life-saving operation, involving entry through the forehead to reach the tumor that’s dangerously close to his eye and brain. The total cost is ₦15 million, far beyond what my family can afford alone.
Please, if you can, help us. And if you can’t donate, sharing this could reach someone who can. I believe in miracles, and sometimes they come in the form of kind strangers.
